Easily and safely test for AC power including mains with this GK7 non-contact voltage detector. Simply turn the GK7 on and insert the tip into your socket, on a power cord, or near a wall or connected device. If the AC power is on, the GK7 will give you an audible alert while flashing the LED.

The GK7 has a working range of 70 VAC - 1000 VAC and is perfect for job sites everywhere! It does not come in contact with the actual power, it senses the field that surrounds all active AC wiring!
